Relaxed Atmosphere, Good Food Make for Pleasant Summer Dining ExperienceThe Snug Harbor is a wonderful place to top off a summer evening visit to Grand Haven. The two of us stopped there on a beautiful June evening at the start of the summer season. The outside dining deck overlooks the Grand Haven channel and was teeming with people ready to enjoy the good food and pleasant atmosphere. We started with a glass of wine and a cup of their white chicken chili, which is just slightly spicy like it should have been. My husband chose a warm roast beef sandwich, and I had my favorite, the seafood salad open faced muffin. This has always been a delicious choice and was, again, totally enjoyable. I finished every morsel, but we had to take home half of the generous roast beef sandwich. The service was excellent, the hostess very pleasant and no one rushed us out, even though there was a growing list of hungry patrons waiting. Our visit topped off our spur of the moment stroll along the pier with this rewarding dining experience. |
