| This special traveling exhibition is on loan from the Muskegon Museum of Art and features original studies and final illustrations for the book by the same title. “My Ol’ Man” tells the story of Polacco’s father, William Barber, who was a fun loving, flimflamming, traveling salesman, and captures her colorful memories of summers spent near Lansing, Michigan. The works in this exhibit weave engaging personal narratives from words and art, from concept to completion. |
