Conditions:  Accepted artwork must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit. A 30% commission will be charged on all artworks sold during the exhibit. Youth works not for sale must be marked NFS on entry form.  No “Price on Request” (POR) accepted.

Entry Procedure:  There is a non-refundable entry fee (total) of $10 for White River Gallery members and $20 for non-members. Youth competition entry fee is $5 per piece.  Each artist may submit up to two works. Adult entries must be delivered to the White River Gallery, 8701 Ferry Street, Montague MI 49437; Youth entries must be delivered to Nuveen Community Center for the Arts, 8697 Ferry Street, Montague MI 49437.  All forms must be completed in their entirety to ensure correct identification, pricing and notification.

Framing & Labeling:  Adult work must be properly framed with no exposed glass edges, wired, and ready to hang. No saw-tooth hangers accepted. Youth entries must be matted with a stiff backing, framing is optional. If youth entries are framed they must follow the adult framing guidelines. Affix entry labels firmly to the back of the entries, in the upper right corner.  For three-dimensional work, entry labels must be tied, taped or pinned securely to each piece. Unsuitably prepared work may be declined. 

Liability:  WRG/NCCA take every precaution to ensure the protection of artwork. However, we are not responsible for any loss or damage.

Notification:  Jury results will be mailed on February 25, 2008.  Award winners will be notified by phone.

Time Line:  Artwork must be dropped off and picked up during these designated times unless other specific arrangements have been made. Any artwork left after May 15 will become the property of White River Gallery or Nuveen Community Center for the Arts.

Drop Off Entries: Feb 22, 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Feb 23, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Feb 24, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.                 
Pick-up Declined Work: Feb 28 & 29, 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., March 1, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Exhibition Dates: March 1-30, 2008

Opening Reception: March 1, 2-4 p.m. with Awards Presentation at 2:30 p.m.
